Why isn't my 7-week-old kitten gaining weight after not eating?

Pixies kitten had stoped eating a few days ago and lost a bit weight. She is now not gaining weight. What could be the cause of this? They are 7 weeks old. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | unspayed | 5 lbs

She may have had some sort of infection (such as an upper respiratory infection) that caused her to have a transient decrease in appetite. Sometimes you don’t see many other symptoms. I would definitely recommend keeping a close eye on her however and seeing your vet right away if she seems to be losing weight again.
