Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Male | neutered
My cat was constipated due to hairballs, this was also stopping him from urinating as the colon was so full. Hes had blood tests, urine tests and xray which all show no signs of stones or infection. His urethra is slightly inflamed and he had and enema to flush out his feaces and his bladder expressed too. He came home today at 12 and has only had a tiny wee is this normal to only produce a small amount of urine after this?

It can be normal to only produce small amounts at a time when the urethra is inflamed. It is a huge emergency if he is not producing any urine at all. I suggest you monitor him closely and if he has a stretch where he is not producing any urine longer than 8-12 hours you need to get him back to the vet ASAP. Did your vet give you any medications to give him? There is a drug called Prazosin that helps to relax the urethra so you may want to consult with your vet about whether or not that would be a good drug to put him on. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
