My dog has a small lump on his stomach. Is it dangerous or benign?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Hi I noticed this lump on my dogs stomach a few weeks ago and am worried it is something bad does it look suspicious to you?? It is smaller than the picture shows and it is a few inches up from his private part. Noticed it a few weeks ago but he doesn’t mess with it and he isn’t a acting any different.

It doesn't look too concerning and I would continue to monitor for any changes in size, texture or colour which may indicate a more sinister nature. If you are concerned, it would be a very small procedure to remove and biopsy to confirm underlying cause when it is small and in area with mobile skin
