My kitten has these red dark things in its right ear only.. is it what they call as ear mites? If yes what do I do? If not also?

That looks almost like a scab in Popo’s ear. Pay close attention to any signs of itching, headshaking or sensitivity associated with rubbing that ear. If these are seen, have him examined by the veterinarian. Ear mites typically has a heavy brown exudate so while it is possible, other causes of an ear infection such as yeast or bacteria are also possible. At home you can try cleaning out the ear gently with a non-medicated ear cleaner for pets. You should be able to find it at the pet store. Don’t buy anything medicated. You can clean every other day. If the lesion does not heal within a week to 10 days, have him examined by the veterinarian. Best of luck and please feel free to post any additional questions.
