My leopard gecko's eyes are stuck shut from shedding. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Reptile | Gecko | Male | 1 year and 1 month old

Help... I have to one year old leopard geckos 1 has a shedding issue around both eyes and has not open them and almost a week I have tried everything from a humid Box to mineral oil and nothing is working his tail is also smaller than it was there's another one and there and her tail is smaller also but no problems with her eyes

He may have retained eyelid liners. If you've tried a humid hide and warm baths, then it could be time to have him examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles. Do not try to forcefully remove the liners, you could cause injury.

    A retained eye liner may be the cause. If this is the case, Alphys will need to be seen by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles to carefully remove it. Do not attempt to remove it yourself. You can soak him/her in a warm water bath to aid in shedding any remaining skin.
