My Male ferret who is a little over a year old has been shedding A LOT. I have 4 other ferrets not including him, do not shed nearly as much as him, if they shed at all. He also seems a bit skinnier, or maybe that's because of all the hair he's lost? I dont see any bald patches yet, but his hair definitely seems thinner and near his tail and butt seems like it might be balding a tiny bit. He is still active, eats, and drinks perfectly fine. I'm just worried about him.

Thanks for reaching out about Pan and including photos. Could he be over-grooming or barbered by the other ferrets? Check for fleas and treat all pets in found. Seems to young for adrenal disease but if no other problems can be found, see a veterinary visit. good luck.
