Hi my cat Alice has severe red bald patches on her body and she won’t stop licking them I’ve only noticed how bad they got last week and haven’t Been able to bring her to the vet due to work can you give me any tips and advice or maybe let me know what you think it is. I’m planning to visit the vet as soon as I get paid but I was wondering if there’s anything I can do in the mean time

Poor Alice! This could be a skin infection, fleas, mites, or allergies. You are right that she does need to see a vet, but you have to stop her from licking the bald patches. That just makes them worse. I would put an Ecollar on her to stop her. I will put a link below on how to make one at home. I hope this helps! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ffR-LzyW1M
