Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Female | spayed | 4 years and 4 months old | 23 lbs
Hi, I have a 4 year old female jack russel terrier who started showing signs of what I believe to be a bladder infection. About 14 hours ago, when I first noticed, she peed 3 times in a row, which is abnormal for her. An hour ago she had a couple drops of pee with blood in them after she finished peeing. She is acting normal & eating & drinking normally. She looks happy. Can this wait to be looked at until my vet is open on Monday, or do I need to go to an emergency clinic? Thank you, -Alex

Hi Alex. Because she is eating and drinking normally as well as acting normally, you can wait until Monday. If she appears lethargic, ill or distressed, or if the urine appears very bloody, then she should be seen by a vet ASAP. Best of luck.
