Dog has red, itchy rash on belly, groin, armpits. What's wrong?

I have a 5yr old Labrador retriever he started having rash on belly 2wks ago. Now his whole belly & groin are red & front/back armpits & tail he is constantly bitting. He is constantly itching. Give him benadryl helps him relax but not clearing up.

Poor pup! At this point, it's now time to see the vet. He sounds very uncomfortable, and he needs treatment to stop the itching. The vet can diagnose the cause, and can treat him for it. I'd take him into a vet tomorrow. Tonight, give him an oatmeal bath to see if that helps temporarily soothe his skin. Best of luck.
