My guinea pig has a runny nose and is sneezing. What should I do?

Hello! My name is Anna, I own two guinea pigs. They are about 5-6 months old. I recently noticed that they may have a bit of a runny nose, and they have been sneezing a little. I just want to make sure nothing is wrong. I have attached pictures of both of the piggies' noses. Should I bring them to a vet? If not, what is some treatment I can give them at home? Please help! Thank you, Anna Blondo

Thanks for reaching out about your guinea pigs. With the pictures, the noses appear slightly crusty. Wipe them with a warm wash cloth. If the sneezing and discharge continues, a veterinary visit is recommended. Good luck.
