Why is my dog having seizure-like spasms but is still awake?

Hello my dog Cashew seems to be having bad full body muscle spasms he looks like he’s having a seizure but aware of his aroundings. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 12 lbs

You need to take him to the vet ASAP in order to get it checked, seizures can be partial in some cases and the dog would seem awake when it happens. muscle spasm can also be caused by intoxication and other neurological conditions, some of them life threatening.
