My dog has new lumps, but I can't afford a vet. What now?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 5 years and 9 months old | 78 lbs

When you pet Lucy on her chest it feels larger and a bit harder then normal. I noticed she was playing around with her food and water when it was put on the floor. I rubbed her neck and it feels larger too. I put her food up onto a box so she doesn't have to go so low. She is eating and drinking better. I know she needs to be checked it's just that finances are not there. How would I know if its bothering her. She is the same temperament as normal. She does have a couple fatty lumps.

I would say it's bothering Lucy if she wasn't eating and drinking as well when the food and water were on the floor as normal. When you can, have her seen by a vet.
