First, you can try starting them on an L-lysine supplement - this is an amino acid that has been shown to help the immune system fight off respiratory infections more effectively. Enisyl and Viralys are both good brands, and can be purchased over the counter without a prescription - just follow the dosing instructions on the label based on your cat's weight. If they are congested, you can also try using a humidifier or bringing her into the bathroom with the door closed while you take a hot shower - the steam and humidity help to break up congestion and temporarily relieve symptoms associated with respiratory infections. Best of luck.

Poor Smokey! It could be that he is suffering from a respiratory infection, which in cats is commonly caused by a virus. There are a few things you can try at home. First, you can try starting him on an L-lysine supplement - this is an amino acid that has been shown to help the immune system fight off respiratory infections more effectively. Enisyl and Viralys are both good brands, and can be purchased over the counter without a prescription - just follow the dosing instructions on the label based on your cat's weight. I also recommend a visit with the vet. There may be medications that can help with his symptoms, which the vet can prescribe. Do not sure the recommendations above to substitute for a vet visit, that is most important. Best of luck, I hope this helps.

It sounds like Astrid is suffering from a respiratory infection. There are few things you can try at home to help her. You might also considering taking her into the vet for an exam, as there may be medications that can help her which can prescribed by a vet.

It sounds like Van Gogh has a respiratory infection. I would have her seen by a vet on Monday, as she may benefit from some prescription medications. In the meantime, I will give you some things you can do at home for her that can be used along with meds from the vet.
