I noticed this red bump a couple of days ago but it has gotten bigger. What could it be?

Ouch! That bump would best be looked at by a vet in person, especially if it is rapidly changing in size. Possible issues could include sores from a wound, irritation, allergies, abscess (infection under the skin), growths, etc. Your vet can take a look, clean the area, take a sample as needed, and provide any medications to help it heal. Until you can get to your vet, placing an Elizabethan (cone ) collar on Rocky and keeping the area clean and dry is best to prevent him from pawing at it and causing more irritation.
