Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Female | spayed | 5 lbs
My cat has some scaly red patch on her head and back and I was wondering what it was. She has consumed some human food lately and I was wondering if this could be a reaction.

Yes, it is possible that's a reaction to the human food. You should make sure to keep her out of human food and to only allow her to eat her cat food. If the lesion doesn't go away within a few weeks or if it gets worse, it could be related to another type of allergy, parasites or thyroid condition. At home make sure to protect the area from rubbing by having her wear an elizabethan collar. Make sure to keep her indoors with this collar on. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
