My kitten has fleas. When should he get a bath and his first shots?

He looks like a domestic medium hair. I think it would be fine to go ahead and give him a bath in diluted dawn to help get the fleas that are on him off. It will not prevent new fleas from getting on him. Once he is old enough you can start him on flea preventative. His vaccines should be started at 6 weeks of age. Your vet will be able to go over the specific vaccine schedule tha the recommend for the area you live in. At 6 weeks most people start with the FVRCP (upper respiratory) vaccine. Kittens needs vaccine severy 3 weeks until they are 12-15 weeks old depending on the area. It’s hard to tell exactly how she without seeing him in person. Most healthy cats who aren’t underweight are ~1.5 pounds at 6 weeks of age. I would have a wellness exam done by your vet so they can tell you his age and get him started on the recommended vaccine schedule. I hope this helps.
