My dog has blood and mucus in stool sometimes, but acts normal.

I have a blue Pitbull who loves sharing food with me. Yesterday I noticed some blood and mucus in her stool, it hasn’t happened everytime she poops only some of the time. And she hasn’t been acting any different..

This could be from eating human food especially stuff that is high in fat. I would try to refrain from feeding her human food. This could put her at risk for pancreatitis which could be a very serious illness. You could try to feed her some plain boiled boneless, skinless chicken and white rice to help settle her tummy. If it isn't improving or if she worsens, I would have your vet take a look at her. Your vet will be able to ensure there isn't anything else going on with her and get her on the proper meds to help her feel better. I hope this helps!
