Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | neutered
He is 2.5 months old, he got spayed yesterday and it took him 5 hours to wake up after we picked him up. He drank a lot of water and ate a little bit, an hour passed, we went to sleep and he started to complain, he had two seizures, the vets came to the house and said it was an allergic reaction but I’m still worried it’s epilepsy. Are there any chances this was caused by an allergic reaction or anesthesia? Thanks in advance.

Poor Indy! He had a rough day! It could have been from either/or. Hopefully it will never have another seizure again. I would make sure they have checked his liver values to rule out a liver shunt and also make sure his blood sugar levels didn't get too low. Low sugar levels can certainly cause them to have seizures. With him being so young, I assume he is likely small. If he is still not acting right today or really lethargic or of course, having more seizures, I would have your vet take another look at him and recheck blood work and glucose levels to start. I hope this helps!
