My 4 month old dog will go outside and play for a hour and then come inside and pee on floor. Also, she has more energy than any dog I’ve ever seen. Any way to calm her down, and getting her to pee outside

4 months is still very young, so working on continued potty training is best. I'm providing some articles at the bottom that can help with general potty training. If she's staying outside for an hour without going, she likely doesn't quite have the idea in her head that outside = go potty. Trying to encourage her to go with cues, taking her where you want her to go potty on leash, or running her around outside can encourage her to go. When she does go outside, make it the best thing she's ever done! If she starts to go potty inside, taking her immediately outside to finish is best. You may also want to look into the tether method when you are home, which involves you keeping Kayla tethered to you by a leash while she is inside. That way you can spot when she is about to go potty and take her outside for success. As for energy, puppies are full of energy. Long walks if she's vaccinated enough, trips to doggy daycare or parks (if vaccinated) and lots of fetch or playing with toys can help tire her out. Puzzle toys that can be filled with kibble or treats are also great at exercising the mind while you are busy with other things.
