That’s a pretty significant rash and home care may not heal that. Rashes can be problems by them selves or they can indicate an underlying issue such as parasites or allergies. If you want to try home care, Emma will need to wear an elizabethan collar at all times so that she cannot lick the rash or any topical treatments. You can wash the affected areas every day with soap and rinse well. Once it is dry, you can apply a dab of coconut oil to each lesion and rub it in well twice daily. Starting Emma on a doggie Omega fatty acid can also help improve the quality of her skin. If she does not start getting better within a week, have her seen by her veterinarian.
