My dog might have eaten my birth control pill. She's fine. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | spayed

Hi I’m wondering if someone can help me please. I take the mini pill and the other night I can’t remember if I took it or put it down somewhere. I’m worrying since that my dog got hold of it (she’s a pug and 8 years old) and even though I’m sure she didn’t take it I’m worrying And can’t stop thinking about it. It would’ve been one if any as I had taken it out of the packet. She’s acting normal and completely fine and I’m convinced she didn’t get it, but I’m wondering if I should check. Thank you

If Fia is acting normal and not having any symptoms, she is likely fine and did not eat the pill. However, if you are concerned about the pill's potential hazards from ingestion, you can contact The Pet Poison Helpline for assistance here: https://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/ (There is a fee for this service.) Signs to watch out for of eating something toxic can include vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, changes in behavior, changes in eating or drinking habits, etc. If you suspect she did eat the pill, or is showing any of these symptoms, seeking veterinary care in person ASAP is best.
