Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Male | neutered | 1 year and 10 months old | 5.5 lbs
My cat was taken to the vet for a check up. He lost 3 pounds. He has zero symptoms of being sick or not feeling well. They took x rays and said he has slightly large kidneys and a possible lump in his chest and tummy. His blood test came back with a high level of protein in him. They said he could have FIT or lymphoma. My question is could they be wrong? Or can it be something else? He doesn't show any signs weakness or vomiting no fever or anything.

Without seeing Leo in person, I cannot diagnosis him definitively but it could be they are wrong. On the other hand, cats can not show signs of illness until they are quite sick and the disease is very advanced. I would take him into another vet for a second opinion. Best of luck.
