My 13 year old lab x has been vomiting daily for a week. She shows no signs of lethargy and is alert. She maintains a healthy appetite. Could this be food related?

Maybe if you are feeding something new. But as vomiting is a common symptom of numerous disease processes it could be something more serious. Vomiting could be caused by something wrong with the GI tract itself or any other organ system. Because of the chronicity at this point seeing your vet is recommended. Likely bloodwork and xrays will be the first recommendation. Additional testing may be needed based on the case. I hope this helps and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
