Fleas are a very common parasite and the best way to treat them is to keep all pets in the household on a good flea prevention for 6 months or longer as the flea life cycle lasts 6 months. I like the products Revolution and Cheristan for cats. Frequently washing of bedding and cleaning the house will also help to decrease fleas in the environment. Your local veterinarian likely has heir own recommendations as well. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
