Dog eye ulcer not healing after 6 weeks of treatment, what's next?

my fog has an ulcer for 6weeks he has had treatment and an operation but his eye is getting worse and no sign of the ulcer getting small, do you know what happens next?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Ty. I recommend that he sees a board certified ophthalmologist if he has not already. His case sounds very advanced and he will need specialized care. Some ulcers can take quite a way to heal. However, if the ulcer continues to worsen, there is a risk of the eye rupturing. So continued care wiykd be essential. There are two different procedures that can be performed to help the ulcer to heal. The first is to debride the dead tissue surrounding the ulcer. The other procedure is known as a grid keratotomy. Both are designed to stimulate healing. So depending on what has already done, the other procedure could be an option. I hope this information helps!
