My puppy has diarrhea and gas. Could it be an upset stomach?

My 9 month old husky Shepard mix seems to be bloated and has diarrhea. He has been eating and drinking, been active/ not napping too much and shows no signs of pain when I feel/squish his stomach. He has not been vomiting and there has not been worms or blood in his stool. He has been very gassy. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 8 months and 12 days old | 38 lbs

From your description, it doesn't sound like Moog has bloat. If he was bloated, he would anxious and restless, would be trying to vomit but be unable to, would be drooling excessively, and wouldn't be eating or drinking. It could be that he ate something that has upset his stomach which led to diarrhea. I can give you a home remedy to see if that helps. Withhold food for 8-12 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, he starts vomiting food, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.
