My dog threw up clear liquid but is acting fine. Do I need to worry?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 11 months old | 23 lbs

Lou has been having a small flare up of colitis, not complete diarrhea and no vomiting just some gagging but it’s on the mend bc his poops are back semi normal. But he just got super excited and threw up clear liquid with some having like a stickyish texture he’s acting fine still playing and wanting to eat and drink. Do I need to worry about the little throw up?

Just keep an eye on Lou for now since he is otherwise acting normally. Should he continue to throw up, stops eating or drinking, or becomes lethargic, then I would worry and have him seen by his vet. I hope this helps.
