My cat is vomiting and has diarrhea after vaccines. Is this normal?

My male cat. took vaccinations last on Jan 6th (sun) in Petco He took Feline 3 in 1 (FVRCP) and Rabies Vaccination same time. also vetco tag is 19043910. My concern is he trowed up most every day and diarrhea most of the time. Now is better but still i have concerns. Is normal after the cat got shot 2times? Please let me know

Yes getting 2-3 vaccines at once is very normal for cats (probably 80+% of cat vaccine appointments). If vomiting occurs right after vaccines (within 12 hours) I would be concerned about a vaccine reaction. But if it's further out than that it's almost certainly not related. Diarrhea is not a common vaccine reaction, so overall I'm concerned something different is going on with your kitty. Since he's back to normal now, I don't think you need a vet visit, but if the vomiting or diarrhea start up again, I'd definitely recommend an exam and discussion. I wouldn't worry about vaccinating him next year from this description.

    Vaccines can cause lethargy, vomiting, and diarrhea in some cats. If the signs last for longer than 24 hours or seem severe than you should call your vet and let him/her know. Your vet may want to examine the kitten and prescribe medications and give fluids to help treat the problem. Hope he feels better soon!
