My dog is 50 days pregnant, but has no signs. Is it a false pregnancy?

My dog was in heat I sent her to my friends male dog on her second day of heat and left her for about 11 days there. Now she is supposedly 50 days pregnant but her belly is completely flat and her nipples only changed color in the beginning of the pregnancy and they are a little bit stiff and I can’t feel any movement. Could she be pregnant with one puppy or is it false pregnancy?? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 3 months old | 17 lbs

Hello, thank you for your question about Diva. Both a false pregnancy or a small litter are possible. I would be suspicious that it is more likely a false pregnancy based on what you are describing. However, the only way to know for sure would be to x-ray/ultrasound Diva’s abdomen to look for the presence of puppies. Hope this helps!
