Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | unneutered | 30 lbs
5 month old boxer male threw up 2 hours ago. Vomit smelled like dog feces. First time he's ever thrown up. He was eating and drinking normally today. No changes to diet I don't believe he got into anything. He had a bath and went out to void. After coming back in his breathing seemed raspy at times. He is walking around and responsive. It is about 15 degrees here. I'm not sure if it's the cold or could he have aspirated?

Poor Saquon Barkley (I love his name, go Giants!). It could be that he vomited again outside or was coughing. It does sound cold out, so it may also be the cold. I can give you a home remedy for him to see if that helps. Withhold food for 6-8 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. Best of luck.
