Why does my female cat bite my male cat when he tries to mate?

Pet's info: Cat | Himalayan | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 11 months old | 11.3 lbs

My male cat can't mate a my female cat. My female cat wanted to get married so I bought a male cat. He keeps trying to position him on her but she always bite him hard. As the male gets spooked easily. They are from the same breed . He tried to mate her 8 times. But he failed ! That's a serious situation please help. Thanks.

Cats don't get married. If the female is not in heat, then she will likely not be receptive to the male attempting to breed her and will show the behavior she is showing. You will have to wait until she is in heat to breed them. If you think there may be a health problem causing this, bringing both cats into your vet or a theriogenologist to have a breeding health exam done is best.
