Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 19 years and 8 months old | 6 lbs
I need advice on when is the right time to put my 21 year old cat down. He has kidney failure and extremely low blood counts. He feels horrible like he has the flu. But he still drinks tuna juice and eats a little tiny bit. He has been constipated for over a week but still enjoys the sun outside. I really don’t know what to do. What is your opinion please?

This sounds like Mr P isn’t enjoying life. Being constipated is uncomfortable and will lead to a blockage if he’s not emptied soon. I think it’s time to say goodbye. He’s ok so this is not an emergency but I would let him go on Monday. He will not improve with the medical problems you’ve described so I’d spend quality time with him this weekend and have him euthanized next week. I think he’ll start suffering if you wait much longer. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you get answers to your veterinary questions.
