Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 1 month old | 5 lbs
Kara had a litter of 6 on 4/9/17. I have not bred her again and probably won't be until end of this year or early next year. She has been coming in heat constantly and running around screeching. She has started losing weight. And she has started peeing everywhere mostly in small amounts. Please help!

Thanks for visiitng Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. What a beautiful cat and kittens! The symptoms of inappropriate urination and peeing frequently in small amounts are signs of urinary tract infection. These are common in pets, especially female cats. I would recommend taking Kara to your local vet to have her urine tested. If she does have an uncomplicated UTI, then a short course of antibiotics should clear up the infection soon. Until you can get her in to be seen by your vet, you should try keeping her litterbox cleaned frequently and also consider adding in another litterbox that is easily acccesible to her. You can also pick up her water at night, and then placing it back out in the morning. I wish you all the best and hopefully you can get Kara feeling better soon. Take care.
