Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 8 years and 9 months old
Hiya for the past week my dog has had bad diarrhoea which has led us waking up to water like faeces in the house which she never does, we have tried all different things like only giving her liquids, stopped giving her scraps from the table, someone said chicken and rice would help but she turning her nose up and not touching! It's going to the point where I think she is straining as there is droplets of blood in her stool, this has started not long after she had a water infection!

Such persistent signs could be compatible with an inflammation infection of the gastrointestinal system and surrounding organs (like pancreas and liver). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is immediately essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics and possibly further investigations (like abdominal imaging as ultrasound or radiographs) may be needed. Boiled chicken (or white fish) and rice diet could help but a check up in Lara's case is needed given that signs have been ongoing for a week and you noticed blood in the feces as well.
