You can drop your deceased cat off at a local vet's clinic, and for a fee, they will send the body to be cremated. If you chose, you pay a bit more to have the ashes returned to you. I would call local vet clinic's to discuss having this done.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This is often times done through a veterinarian. You can for example take Benji to your veterinarian if that happened and usually they would take care of his remains in the way you prefer, including cremation which is usually done by a separate entity. If you are concerned that Benji is declining and you are concerned about his health, it would be a good idea to have him evaluated by your veterinarian to ensure that he is not suffering. Did your cat happen to have a microchip? If so you can take the body to a veterinarian and have them scan for a microchip. Otherwise it is mostly visual identification. I am so sorry you are facing this. My condolences if it is your kitty.

I am so sorry for your loss. You can bury him in your back yard and put her body to rest. Maybe you can even say a few words to bless her body as you lay her to rest. If this is not possible then you can try contacting your local animal shelter or low cost clinic (a quick google search should bring one up) to see if they will take her body for you for you. I am so sorry to hear of your loss, the only way unfortunately to try to determine why would be a post-mortem exam. I recommend you contact your vets office to discuss this, especially if there are other kittens in the house or other cats are showing any unusual signs

I have an appt tomorrow at 330pm to put my cat to sleep. She is very old, but she’s not going to make it through the night. What can I do to help this process or make her as comfortable as possible?
I am so sorry for your heartache, I know how difficult this time is. You have a couple of options to consider. 1) Let her pass at home. Make sure she's got a warm comfortable bed, allow her to be propped into a whatever position seems most comfortable. If she's having any difficulty breathing, it may help to prop her so that she's sort of lying on her chest, (so the breastbone is on the surface)--this allows both of her lungs to expand most comfortably. There is no medication that I can advise you to give her, but just being with her is the best thing you can do to make her comfortable. You can keep things she really likes (a cat toy she used to love, etc) and familiar scents (one of your worn t-shirts,etc) in the bed with her. Don't try to force her to eat or drink. 2) Call an emergency clinic. They likely have 24/7 full services, including euthanasia. Additionally, they may be able to refer you to "on-call" in home euthanasia services in your area. More and more of these

Hello and welcome to Boop by Petco. I am sorry that Mystic is so sick. Unfortunately there are no pain-free ways that you can perform euthanasia at home. I recommend calling your clinic, or the emergency clinic in your area. If you explain that Mystic is very sick and needs to be put down, but you don't have money for this, most clinics will euthanize at no cost so that the animals are not suffering. Try a few if the first clinic says no. You can also try a humane society. If you say that you know Mystic needs to be put down, and don't want a consult but he is suffering, they should be able to help you and Mystic.

It depends on the clinic, but typically no, vet clinics do not pick up the cat from the home. There may be a mobile vet clinic in your area, which can come to your home to treat Hope. I would see if there is one of those in your area. Otherwise, I'd see if you can get a ride from a friend, get a taxi, or call a local clinic to explain your situation and see if they can help.
