My dog has parvo. Will hospital stay cause depression and hurt recovery?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | 1 month and 22 days old | 8.8 lbs

As i asked earlier , thor has parvo virus , the doctor recommended for hospitalization. Is it good for him ? I am worring about how he will stay with complete strangers . At home , we can support him , hug him and he knows us . At hospital he’s all alone . Can he get depression and lower his resistance to fight back virus ? Which is one better , his emotions or hospitalization?

Parvovirus is a severe infection with life threatening complications. I would strongly suggest to follow your vet's advice about it.
