My new puppy's breath stinks. Is it normal or a dental problem?

I recently got a new puppy and noticed that when she opens her mouth a gross stench comes out i tried looking it up but some sites say its normal other say a could be dental problems im not sure. I would go to the vet but i don't have much money right now. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 months and 5 days old | 2 lbs

Puppies normally have a characteristic smell to their breath - lots of people in the veterinary profession love 'puppy breath'! If Nova seems to have trouble eating, if she is drooling, or if you truly feel her breath is abnormal it would be best to see a vet - she is likely due for vaccines sometime soon as well. A tooth problem or something stuck in her mouth could also cause a foul smell too, and a vet can perform a thorough oral exam.
