Why is my puppy's nose stuffy after parvo treatment and fluids?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 24 days old | 5 lbs

my puppy is almost 5 months ols weight around 5 pounds has been sick and treated fir parvo couple days ago we took him to urgent care it was super cold and he was shaky and cold we came home with fluids to treat for parvo and since then he has been having a stuffy nose with like clear whitish buggies so vet said that fluids can cause stuffy nose but wanted a second opinion

I hate to hear that Fluffy is so sick. Yes, excessive fluids can cause a stuffy nose but this is usually a sign of too much fluids. In some instances (such as parvo), this may be an acceptable risk. It's also possible that his immune system is compromised and another virus (not another parvo virus) is taking effect. I recommend to have him seen again by a veterinarian who will listen to his lungs to make sure the fluid is not causing congestion there. The doctor may adjust the fluid volume if fluid over load looks to be the cause. I hope this helps to point you in the right direction. Please feel free to post any additional questions!
