Why is my puppy straining to poop and rubbing its bum on the floor?

My Puppy is screaming and finding difficulty passing its stool. After it has passed the stool with difficulty it is rubbing his bum against the floor. Please suggest any medication along with treatment. Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 9 days old

Is the stool soft, diarrhea or very hard? I would recommend getting Loli's anal glands expressed. If he is scooting that is most likely bothering him. Depending on what is going on with his stool would depend on what type of treatment your veterinarian would do. I would recommend a stool sample be performed to look for intestinal parasites.
