That is a big rash on Bella’s belly! Many things can cause that including environmental allergies, fleas, mites, food allergies and fungal infections. Things you can do at home that may help would be to wash the areas daily with an antibacterial hand soap and rinse well. Start an Omega 3 fatty acid supplement to improve skin quality. You may also consider switching her diet to something like Royal Canin or Nutro as these foods have an emphasis on skin health. Antihistamines can sometimes help if the pets are itchy. Use a good flea product such as Simparica on a monthly basis. Lastly, a trip to the veterinarian will help to get Bella pointed in the right direction and likely on the path to recovery faster so you may consider making her an appointment.
