Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered
My cat has been indoors all night in a safe area and this morning when I went to let him out he has been walking very slowly and flat to the ground. He's staying in his bed, licking his privates constantly and meows a lot when petted on his lower back. He's generally extremely friendly and egar to sit on your lap, be picked up and petted. I do not have access to bring him to a vet until another few hours. He ate a little bit, not walking around.

Hi, Signs such as licking his privates, and what sounds as abdominal pain may indicate a urinary tract problem this can develop to a very serious condition in which the urinary tract blockage, it is more common in males than females due to their anatomy of a more narrow urethra. Urinary tract blockage in cats is a medical emergency that requires immediate intervention. Take him to the vet as soon as you can and in the meantime keep him indoor and try to monitor his urination behaviour and output.
