I hate to hear that your pup is sick. There are many reason's that he could be vomiting. Being at the kennel, they can come in contact with viruses, parasites and bacteria that can make them feel ill. If dogs receive new food or treats, that can also upset their stomach. Then of course there are other things such as organ dysfunction and intestinal obstruction that can also cause these signs. At home you can try feeding him a bland diet of 25% boiled white breast chicken and 75% boiled plain white rice. This can help soothe the stomach. If he is continuing to vomit beyond 24hrs or is showing other signs of illness such as lethargy or diarrhea, I would recommend to have him seen right away by the veterinarian. I hope he feels better quickly. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
