Dog eye irritated with gunk from head out window. What can I do?

Dog has something in eye after head out window while driving. Has gunk coming out, eye is irritated. Using warm compress only anything else I can do for him? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 90 lbs

You could try gently flushing his eye with a saline solution, but if the redness and discharge continue I'd recommend seeing your vet to make sure there isn't something stuck further in his eye or an abrasion on the surface of his cornea.
