My cat has a new hairless spot on its head. What should I do?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 3 years and 11 months old

Hello sir/maam, My cat which I believe is a panther or a Malayan and not really an American short hair is very emotional and its been few days I was busy rescuing a dog.. finally today I had some time to see him as he has been eating. a bit less but still eats, I've noticed a new hairless spot on his head, does that mean anything? No blood and no scabs j was just brushing him and I noticed it :(

In that location, would be first concerned about a parasite or fleas (could be related to the new dog or just a coincidence). Sometimes we don't find the cause of small bald spots like this. I'd recommending starting with a vet visit for an exam and testing which may include a skin scrap and fungal testing.
