My senior dog stopped eating and is less active. What can I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 70 lbs

I recently adopted my parents dog who is about 11 years old. She has been eating fine for the last 2 weeks, but has not touched her food for 2 days. I've been mixing wet and dry food which she really likes. She is also overall not as active as she normally is. Is there anything you can recommend to do until i take her to the vet Monday?

I would try some plain boiled boneless skinless chicken and white rice to see if this enticed her to eat for the weekend. There are several causes for a decreased appetite so if it isn’t betterby Monday, I would definitely take her to see your vet. I hope this helps!
