My dog has a bump from vaccine. Is it normal? How to reduce swelling?

Hello, my dog was recently boarded at his vet and was given his vaccinations. He now has a bump on his right hip, which is where I was told his rabies shot was given. Is this normal, and is there something I should do to reduce the inflammation such as ice or an anti-inflammatory medication? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 12 lbs

Sometimes it can take several weeks to go away. If it has not decreased in size in the next few weeks, have him reevaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Best of luck!
