Dog peeing blood, vomiting, diarrhea, but seems okay. Vet needed?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | 55 lbs

Is an emergency vet visit warranted if my six year old male pit mix of fifty five lbs is displaying these symptoms?: Incontinence, blood clotting in urine, vomiting, and diarrhea. NOTE - Since incident first began ( 1 day ago ) He only has vomited once, he hasn't had any more blood in urine occurrences, he isn't showing any signs of pain, or discomfort, his energy levels haven't at any moment since declined, and currently appears ok. Is it possible he got into some poison?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Solder. I do recommend that he sees a veterinarian. Blood in the urine of a male dog is always worrisome. Given the male anatomy, urinary tract infections are rare. Rat poisoning ingestion can cause a bleeding disorder. He could also have another bleeding disorder, bladder stones or a bladder tumor. All of these conditions require treatment and will not resolve on their own. I hope this information helps!
