Why is my rabbit not moving, dragging its leg, and not eating?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed | 8 lbs

My rabbit is a blanc de hotot and isn't moving, she sits in the same place and I realized that her back right foot its dragging. She only eats food out of my hand. She doesn't move at all and just sits in the corner of the cage. Usually she resists to me picking her up but she didn't do anything when I tried. I'm trying not to pick her up so I don't hurt her more.

It sounds like she is suffering from either a fractured leg or spine injury, either way this is very urgent and you must take her to the emergencies right away to have an xray done and get it treated.
