My puppy ate dirt. Why is she vomiting, weak, and not eating?

My puppy is 7 weeks today. She has been chewing on dirt out side and in the house and also leaves. She threw up Saturday night and Sunday she didn’t have an appetite for her regular puppy food. She ate her food only once at 10am and then after that she didn’t have an appetite she vomit about 3 times since 1am and only wanted water but now around 2 she didn’t want any more water she just weak

I would recommend that you have your puppy examined by a vet. Vomiting in puppies is common, and can be caused by dietary intolerance or indiscretion (eating something that could get stuck), intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection (such as parvo virus), pancreatitis, among others. After examination and discussing her medical history, the vet may recommend testing for parvo or intestinal parasites. Once they have a better idea as to the cause of the vomiting and poor appetite they can recommend an appropriate treatment.
