My new puppy has eye boogers. Is this normal or a vet concern?

My new puppy has lots of eye boogers. Should we be concerned?

If they are grey/clear eye discharge and he isn’t squinting then I wouldn’t be too concerned. It could be allergies - you can try Benadryl. See link below for dosages. If he has yellow/green discharge and/or e is squinting I would have your vet take a look. Your vet will be able to determine if there is an ulcer or infection in the eye.
